Ideally located on Bluebell Organic Farm, away from busy roads Alder Cottage is the perfect location for a quiet break. Beside the Bonet river, near lakes mountains and sea there is everything to make the perfect holiday. Sleeping up to 5 people. Alder Cottage whilst keeping its traditional exterior has been beautifully restored to the highest specifications. If you want to chill out and relax this is the place for you.There is a comfortable sitting room with open fire and wood logs available from the farm and a large flat screen with satellite TV. The kitchen has all the modern equipment necessary and the bathroom has a large bath and shower to lie back and relax. Outside there is a patio with table, chairs and barbeque for the good days and a ping pong table under cover for the rainy ones! There is a nice lawn surrounded by mature trees to make you feel well secluded.

Alder cottage is the ideal base to explore the north west of Ireland. You can make day trips to Donegal, Slieve League Cliffs, Achill Island and Connemara, as well as the nearby Yeats Country. Visit Queen Maeve’s tomb on Knocknarea, Benbulben, O`Rourke`s Table, Glencar Lake with its waterfall, the megalithic tombs of Carrowmore, and the recently restored Parke`s Castle on the shore of Lough Gill and its famous Lake Isle of Innisfree.
