Cavan Burren Park

Cavan Burren Park is situated about three kilometres south of Blacklion and north-west of Cuilcagh Mountain. The Park opened to the public in May 2014 but the site itself goes back a little longer.  It dates back 340 million years to the Carboniferous period when this whole area was covered in a shallow tropical sea. You can experience a wonderful Interpretative Centre giving an insight to these times.  Five amazing walking trails around the Park  highlight the spectacular prehistoric tombs and  geology of the area. Relive the special stories that make this such a unique environment.
