Drumleague Lock Looped Trail

This lovely​ walking/cycling trail begins at Drumleague Lock and follows the towpath on the west side of the canal to Battlebridge Lock. The route of the trail loops around at Battlebridge Lock and continues on the east side of the canal, passing Drumleague Lock again, and on to Drumhauver Bridge. The trail now extends all the way to the new and iconic Acres Lake Floating Boardwalk in Drumshanbo. From here, turn back along the same trail and finish at Drumleague Lock. This Blueway trail is an ideal off-road family walk/cycle. Bicycle hire is available in Leitrim Village from Electric Bike Trails
From Battlebridge it is a walk/short cycle along an existing footpath to link with Leitrim Village
